Social Factors Influencing the political participation of citizens in marginalized urban areas (sample: marginalized areas of Kermanshah)

Political participation in the system of indirect democracy, plays a vital role. Selection mechanism for the realization of popular sovereignty. The partnership allows citizens to change their government officials and replaced. Hence, participation leads to attendants in the nation are accountable and responsible. This article is the result of empirical research in the political sphere - social, followed by social factors influencing political participation of citizens in marginalized areas of the city of Kermanshah. In other words, the main question that social factors influencing political participation of citizens in marginal areas of Kermanshah What? To answer the question, number 384 residents over 18 years old marginal areas of Kermanshah were selected by multistage cluster sampling and were studied. The research method employed, the field method, surveying techniques and tools used, questionnaire. Correlation analysis showed that, between the political entourage, national identity, social trust, religion, sex, marital status and political participation of citizens there, but there was no significant relationship between economic status and political participation.
