The Vision of Palestine Resistance in Identity Challenges of West Asia

The crisis in Western Asia has many dimensions of which the hegemonic structure interference, destructive role of Zionist regime, vicarious war against resistance front and expansionism of regional role-players can be investigated. Identity conflicts, which has affected a lot of Islamic world issues including Palestine issue, is one of the dimensions to the Western Asia crisis. In this research, employing a descriptive analysis methodology and library based approach, the vision in front of Palestinian resistance is studied in a situation in which Western Asia is dealing with identity conflicts. The outcomes of this study reveals that Muslim's identity-seeking process in recent decades has made the matter of identity to become eminent in social, political and international relations. The findings of the current research proves that in various eras in which crisis strikes the national or international environment, individuals and social groups tend to put more emphasis on one dimension of their multidimensional identities. Hence, "resistance identity" as a "constituted identity" which by resort to Islamic revolution discourse, has unified a bunch of players under a geopolitical and geocultural tenet, named "resistance axis" has become more and more marginalized because of these crises; and ethnic, religious, political and ideological identities have become more prominent.
According to this, as long as active players in the front row of battle against zeionist regime, affected by identity conflicts of Western Asia region, are defining their actions based on ethnic, religious, national and all other kind of Identities, "resistance identity" and as a consequence, anti-zionist resistance becomes more and more subdued and marginalized.
