Common Denominators of Ashura and the Uprising of Imam al-Mahdi Baed on Hadiths

Shiite hadiths indicate common denominators of Ashura and the future uprising of Imam al-Mahdi, all based on the event of Ghadir Khumm. Togethet, they make the underlying structure of Shiite doctrines. Such denominators are expressly mentioned in a number of ziarat-texts and prayers, e.g., Dua al-Nudbah, Ziarat Ashura, and Ziarat al-Nahiya alMuqaddasah. The overall conclusion is that the future uprising of Imam alMahdi shall certainly be in continuation of the movement of Imam alHusayn.
