The predictive role of body image, body mass index,dispositional mindfulness and alexithymia in marital satisfaction of employed women

The aim of this study was to investigate the predictive role of body image and Body Mass Index, dispositional mindfulness and alexithymia in marital satisfaction of employed women. For this reason, in a retrospective and cross-sectional study, 120 employed women of Tabriz University were selected by simple random sampling method and were participated in research based on ethical consideration. Five Facet Mindfulness Questionnaire, Enrich`s marital satisfaction questionnaire-short form, Toronto Alexithymia Scale (TAS-20), Body Image Concern Inventory (BICI) and Body Mass Index (BMI) were used for assessing the predictive and criteria variables.
