Research 2.0 and the future of information literacy

Information literacy is a term that has been used by librarians and other groups. It should be noted that the word “literacy” is more general than information literacy; and literacy has various types. Among them, in this book, three types of literacy including information literacy, scientific literacy and academic literacy got more attention. Information literacy has its own self-winding path through history and there are speculations about it in future. The book, which is under current criticism, by respecting the historical context of information literacy efforts, presents the future of information literacy in the light of changes in technology, specially its relationship with research and also, build a stronger link between information literacy and research area.
