The environmental pollution is one of the major challenges in the world, especially in Islamic world. The environmental pollution is defined as the distribution or mixing the outer materials in water, weather, soil, or land in degree that change their physical, chemical, or biological quality that is harmful for humans, other living creatures, plants, and buildings. This study aimed to investigate the environmental pollution in Islamic countries through analyticaldescriptive method. The findings showed that the Islamic countries face different environmental challenges and pollution. Furthermore, the rapid rate of urban growth in the region and concentration of population in urban areas lead to growing air pollution. In addition, it was shown that the main sources of pollution include industrial processes, inappropriate disposal of solid and hazardous garbage, gas emissions by vehicles, and burning fuel to generate electricity. With technology development, consumerism, urbanization, and machine life, the environmental problems and pollutions in the world and the Islamic world are increased. Consequently, the human being faces more critical concerns for these challenges than ever.
