Assessment of role of religious beliefs in prevention of risky behaviors among youngsters at the age of 18-30 conducted in the Cities of Estahban and Fasa

Each society has its own beliefs and norms, while considering these norms certain behaviors are acceptable and some are not. Moreover religion as a system that has been revealed by God also define manner etiquettes for the society. There is a belief that in today’s world, modernization declined religious beliefs and increased delinquencies among youth. In this study investigation conducted about the role of religious beliefs risky behaviors prevention among youngsters. The research approach implemented is survey which was held through questionnaires among 448 from young people at the age of 18-30 in the cities of Estahban and Fasa located in Fars province. As a result it is concluded that there is a significant relationship between religious beliefs and independent variables including: sex, education, marital status, level of education and delinquent peer groups.
