Relationship between sport participation and social capital in veterans and disabled (case study: veterans and disabled people of kerman)

Abstract:
Aims:Achieving the social goals on sport is important for the whole groups of society, especially veterans and disabled people. The purpose of this study to investigate the relationship between sport participation and social capital in veterans and disabled people of kerman city.

Methods
The method of study was descriptive - correlation. the sample size Using krejcie and Morgan's sampling table was determined 170 persons ( veterans=92, disabled=78). The collection instrument of data was researcher made questionnaire. Validity of questionnaire was confirmed by 10 experts and its reliability was(0.78) Respectively. The data were analyzed by Pearson and Single sample T-student tests in SPSS 19 software.

Conclusion
The finding of this study emphasize the importance of sport strategic planing for the more participation of veterans and disabled people in sport, and increasing their social capital as a result.
