Identification the main affective factors on regional undevelopment (Case Study: Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad Province)

Abstract:
Development plans are performed to create a better future; in other words formation of social construct of countrie's future. The ssignificant part of this plan is related to regional development. Therefore, it is important to consider that each region requires specific plan according to its dominant circumstances, potentiality, capabilities; and at the same time certain limitations. Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad Province is known as an underdeveloped province in spite of having growth and development potentiality. So, the main purpose of this study is to identify obstacles of development in this province. The data has been collected via combination of documentary and Delphi methods and analyzed by MICMAC Software. The results of this study indicated that 12 factors have been recognized as the main obstacles to the development of Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad such as weakness in internal management of the province, weakness in country macro management and cultural weaknesses.it should be mentioned that management and cultural factors are the main reason of underdevelopment in Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad.
