Construction And Standardization Of Self-Evaluation Tool Of Thinking Skills In Maritime Students Of Mazandaran Province

This study aims at constructing and standardizing Self-Rating Scale of thinking skills in students of marine science. The main components of cognitive and metacognitive thinking skills are identified and validity of its saturation factors was estimated. Type of research was descriptive-analytic that was conducted through a survey. The populations were all students in marine science university (1960 people). The sample was selected through stratified random sampling based on Morgan Kerjsy table that 400 people were estimated. The research instrument used 78-item scale developed by the researchers based on the theoretical principles and research with some degree was designed. After estimating the adequacy of the validity / reliability test using Cronbach's alpha 96 and Bartlett test of sphericity, factor analysis with principal components analysis regarding the validity of structures (Kmo) sampling questionnaire, the questionnaire materials are generally related to one factor. Varimax factor rotation to simplify the structure of the questionnaire showed that the theoretical structure of the questionnaire to 9 factors (Goal setting reload, checker challenged, Observations, thoughts circuit, arguments seeking sustainable, effective knowledge fascinating, doubt the validity of the finding, the strategy of flexible circuit, is made up 3% respectively. All these nine factors shows 50% of the whole variance. And the conceptual model designed based on these factors.
