Metaphoric - structural analysis of Bidel Dehlavi's epic (cognitive semantic approach)‎

Abstract:
Cognitive metaphors in transferring meaning an ýsensualizing the abstract concepts play important ýrole in the process of human speech.To think an ýspeak , human being uses metaphors , especially ýwhen he turns to profound philosophical ýý,religious and literary issues.These metaphors ýseemingly introduced first by Lakof and Johnson ýin the metophors we live by are classified in ýdifferent categories such as even structure, ýorienting, identification each transferring and ýconceptualizing some part of linguistic knowledge ýý.Bidel Dhlavi is one of the poets famous for the ýcomplexity of language in meaning and ýthoughtful composition.Therefore, most scholars ýfind it difficult to enter his poetic realm.There are ýintroduced some innovative and cognitive ývehicles such as metaphoric analysis to get right ýinto his poems. The present study analyzes the ýmetaphors existing in an epic of Dehlavi ýexpressed as `to the peak of divinity the misery is ýpaved the way with showing that it enjoys both ývertical and horizontal unity and this analysis can ýbe used in other works of Dehlavi.ý
