The effect of promoting angiogenesis in chick chorioallantoic membrane by Ocimum basilicum leaf aqueous extract

B: Basil is an herb that has been noted for its many health benefits, including the ability to fix one-sided headaches and so on. Angiogenesis, formation of new vessels from the primary vessels is involved in physiological and pathological. This process is essential for the proliferation of endothelial cells in the repair process. This study stimulatory effects of aqueous extract of Ocimum basilicum on the chick chorioallantoic membrane(cam) angiogenesis review.
M: In this study, 40 Ross fertilized eggs were randomly divided into 4 groups: control, sham-exposed and experimental. 8 day of incubation, the sham-exposed group was treated with normal salin and the treatment group was treated with the plant aqueous extracts of O.b. with 50 , 150 mg/kg doses. 12 day of CAM was photographed. The number and length of vessels were analyzed by t-test and ANOVA (PR: The number of vessels in the treatment groups compared to the control group showed a significant increase . Investigate length of vessels just in 150 doses significant was seeing aqueous treatment.
C: The aqueous extract of O.b has angiogenic effects on cam.
