Analyzing effects of implementing Varkaneh rural plan from villagers view point

After more than two decades of beginning of the remediation and conductive plans in rural areas and high costs of preparation and implementation of such plans, we are encountered with different effects of such plans like changes in the physical fabric of the village, changes in patterns of housing, inconsistencies in the rural roads network, and facilitation for movement of peasants. Our aim in this study was to analyze the effects of remediation plans in Varkane Village from the villagers’ perspective. The research method is descriptive and for data collection field and documentation methods were utilized. Accordingly, given the population size of 219 households, all of the respondents were considered and 214 of the households were participated for research analysis. The accuracy of indicators and items in the questionnaire or face validity has been confirmed by specialists. To evaluate the reliability of the research instrument, questionnaire was given to 30 family custodians and Cronbach alpha was calculated and the figure of 0.94 percent was obtained which is rather an acceptable figure. The findings indicated that in rural remediation projects five indicators including housing index, health, land use, street network, economic, social and cultural indicators a significant positive correlation was seen; but no significant effect was investigated between the economic status of households and impact of indicators.
