The Relationship between Single loop Learning and Knowledge Management in Sport and Youth General Offices of West Region of Iran

The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between single loop learning and knowledge management in Sport and Youth general offices of western region of Iran. The research method was correlation and application in terms of goal. The population consisted of 274 subjects and 153 subjects were selected as the sample. Single loop learning questionnaire (derived from the conceptual model of Beats) and knowledge management questionnaire (a mix by Jashpara et al.) were used to collect data. Descriptive and inferential statistics (K-S test, correlation coefficient, stepwise regression) were used to analyze data. The results showed the single-loop learning as the predictor of knowledge management. In the meantime, the use and application of knowledge (β=0.403) was the factor which was influenced by single-loop learning more than other factors of knowledge management in Sport and Youth general offices of the western region. According to these results, it is suggested that managers and employees should collaborate in single-loop learning and development and its components so that an effective step can be taken to improve knowledge management in Sport and Youth general offices in western region of Iran.
