By using Iranian's paintings in teaching art to first grade students of high school in order to increase visual creativity

Abstract:
The aim of this research is to use Iranian's painting in teaching art to students order to improve their visual creativity. The research consisted of 124 students who were studying in first grade of high school in Hamedan city and they were selected randomly. They were divided in to two groups of control and testing and to measure creativity of students the Torrance test of creative thinking (Form B) were used before and after classes.
The activity was designed by researcher and it was done by testing group for 12 sessions, in this while nothing was done to improve the level of creativity in controlled group by researcher. The result of research shows that there is a meaningful differences between the two groups of control and testing (based on the result of Torrance test of creative thinking) and it can be said that the growth rate of creativity in testing group was higher than control one. The result of research confirm the influence of Persian Painting on the creativity of students and in order to improve creativity of students in art education, teachers can benefit from Persian Painting.
