Concept and Referent of the Household of the Prophet in Verse of Tathir

Scholars of Shiite and Sunni have disputed regarding to the referent of the household in verse of Tathir, uttering many probabilities. Meanwhile, all Shia scholars and overwhelming majority of Sunni's scholars have consensus that the prophet of God, Imam Ali, Hazrat Fatemah, Imam Hasan and Imam Hosein are included in verse of Tathir and are from the household of the prophet. But about the wives of the prophet, most of the interpreters of Quran among Sunnis have considered the wives of the prophet are involved, lacking any acceptable reason. Conversely, all Shia scholars and some Sunni scholars have provided firm grounds, demonstrating that verse of Tathir is dedicated to five infallible figures and the term "the household" does not involve anybody except them.
