investigate the relationship between organization and academic factors of the faculty members at Tehran University

This study aims to investigate the relationship between organization and academic factors of faculty members at Tehran University in one hand and their research growth productivity in the other hand.
The study population consists of 842 faculty members which their names are indexed in theisi database in 2014.
The organization and academic datawere extracted from the center for virtual technologies of University Tehran (IT) and the research productivity data were obtained from organizational intelligence department .
The study is correlational analysis using analyticaland descriptive statistics to discover the mentioned data.The results indicate that there is no significant relationship between gender and research productivity (when the decision criterion equals 0/226 and test statistic equals 0/162), as well as the relationship between age and productivity of faculty members (decision criterion = 0/73 and test statistics = 0/62).
In the other hand, there is a significant relationship between subject areas and research productivity (when the decision criterion equals 0/8 and test statistic equals 0/119), as well as the relationship between academic rank and productivity (decision criterion = 0/3 and test statistics = 0/5).
there is a significant relationshipbetween the place of taking PhDdegree andresearchproductivity just in the field of basic sciences.
