Comparison of Loneliness and School Bonding in Male Students with Aggressive Behaviors and Normal

The aim of this study was to compare loneliness and school bonding of male students with aggressive behaviors and normal in 5 and 6th grade of elementary school in Ahvaz city. The study sample included 250 male students (125 aggressive students and 125 normal students) that were selected through random multistage sampling method. This study was conducted with a comparative method. Data were collected through Loneliness Questionnaire (LQ), School Bonding Questionnaire (QSB) and Child Aggression in School Questionnaire (CASQ). Data were analyzed by using multivariate analysis of variance (MANOVA) method. The results showed that there was significant difference between both groups in the loneliness and school bonding. In addition, the level of loneliness was upper and level of school bonding was lower of the aggressive group than the normal group. According to the results of this study, upper leves in loneliness and deficit in school bonding can be considered as one of the significant factors in emerging aggressive behaviors.
