The Effect of Technical condition of Oil Tankers and other Factors to their Road Incidents (According to ADR Regulations)

According to more than 270 million liters daily supply and distribution of petroleum products in all over the country, the problems caused by road transport and Potential risks of the petroleum products caused that the accidents of the oil tankers are of special importance in terms of consequences & complications. This article reviews and evaluates the technical conditions of the road tankers according to ADR laws and another factors and the impact on the events, through the collection of information available and the application of the process deals with statistical analysis. The population of this research is the total active oil tankers transporting petroleum products. The study uses descriptive and inferential statistical methods and correlation and relationship tests, through SPSS software. To answer the main question of the research, by using some subsidiary questions, these factors were examined in context. In the study, the percentage of wasted products have been considered, and the test results applied to the conclusion showed that technical improvement of oil tankers have not been affected the amount of wasted product. Namely, upgrading the technical condition of the oil tankers could not reduce road accidents and this reflects the influence of the other factors on the tanker’s accidents. Therefore, through investigation on the other factors, appropriate decisions can be adopted regarding the reduction of the accidents.
