The effect of water sports training on coastal tourism in the city of Nowshahr

The main purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of coastal-water sports on the tourism industry in Nowshahr. Its secondary goals are to examine factors such as: management, advertising and marketing, facilities and accommodations, and infrastrucyures in the development and attraction of coastal-water sports athletics from the point of view of experts and tourists. This research is descriptive. The statistical population of this study is the experts and tourists of the coastal-water sports in Noshahr and suburb which is about 1400 people. The statistical sample includes 50 experts and 250 coastal-water tourists. Measurement tool: A researcher-made questionnaire with a reliability of 91%. For statistical analysis, the data were analyzed using an analytical factor-confirmatory method. Advertising and marketing with a coefficient of covariance of 86% is the most important factor in the development and attraction of coastal-water sports athletes in Nowshahr. Management with a coefficient of covariance of 85%, facilities and installations with a coefficient of covariance of 71% and infrastructure with a coefficient of covariance of 59% were the next priorities affecting the coastal-water sports on the tourism industry of Nowshahr.
