The impact of group training of maturity hygiene to mothers of parent-child conflicts and emotional control on female adolescents

Maturity and adolescence is an important phase of human growth. Maturity leads to physiological, social and psychological changes in adolescents. These changes effect on different dimensions of person’s life, including child-parental relations and the control of adolescents’ emotions. The aim of this research was to determine the impact of awareness group training of maturity health to mothers on child-parental conflicts and control of adolescents’ emotions in the first high school course female students.
The present study was a quasi-experimental with a pre-test post-test and control group design. Thirty mothers with child-parental conflict selected by clustered sampling and then randomly assigned to the control or experiment group. The group training of maturity health was done during 12 90-minute sessions. The research tools as, 1- demographic questionnaire, 2-conflict to parents’ questionnaire (CT), 3- affective control scale were completed by mothers and daughters before and after the intervention. Data were analyzed by ANCOVA by the SPSS version 16.
The results of ANCOVA showed a significant difference between two groups in child-parent conflict questionnaire and this sub-scales (P The findings of research revealed that having useful knowledge and awareness about maturity can be helpful for mothers and prevent from child-parental conflict and leads to control adolescent's affective.
