A Study of Musical Elements in Surah Al-Haaqqa

Abstract:
One of the important aspects of the linguistic miracle of the Quran is its pleasant music that plays a large role in the superiority of the Quranic text over other texts. we encounter two types of internal rhythm and external rhythm in dealing with Quranic musical structure and each of the mentioned types cover components like: synonymous internal rhythm, differing internal rhythm, repetition rhythm, parallel rhythm, rhythm of intervals, phonetic rhythm, stress rhythm, and intonation rhythm and the alignment of such components with the themes of ayahs eventually leads to Quranic text cohesion. The present analytic descriptive article, using Quranic evidence, tries to study this aspect of the miracle of the Holy Quran in Surah Al-Haaqqa. The results show that the Quran, which is the manifestation of divine words, besides deep meaning and contents is full of numerous musical beauty so that the structure of all its parts and musical elements is compatible with each other and in accordance with religious content and purposes, and thus involve in better conveyance of meanings and concepts of Quranic ayahs.
