Abstract:
The inhabitants of the eastern provinces of the Islamic world – from Bukhara to Khurasan – have always displayed a special affection for the Family of the Prophet (s). The migration and residency of many Shia groups and ancestors of the Prophet (s) in the cities of Bukhara, Samarqand, Khwarazm, Tumuz, Balkh, Qandaz, Herat and Ghaznin also expresses the special love of the inhabitants of these cities for the Family of the Prophet (s). Many of the people of these cities migrated to Arabia in order to meet and serve the Family of the Prophet (s). One of the admirers of this Family (a) in the first century of the Heijrah came from the city of Kabul. He was named Abu Khalid al Kabuli. He is counted as one of the five followers of Imam Zayn al Abidin (a). He understood the truth of the Imamate of Imam Ali ibn al Husain (a) from Muhammad ibn Hanafiyyah and following this he went to meet him. He continuously served him and became one of the special companions and admirers of that Imam (a). In this paper, a brief examination of the life of this special companion of the fourth Imam (a) will be mande.
