Predicting of Psychological Well-Being from Components of Psychological Capital and Spiritual Attitude

Abstract:
This study aims to predict psychological well-being based on the components of psychological capital (self-efficacy, optimism, resiliency and hope) and components of spiritual attitude (spiritual attitude and spiritual ability). Subjects were included 354 female students from Qom University that selected using stratified random sampling proportional to size method so that from each of the school independently sample proportional to size of that school were selected and responded to Ryff’s psychological well-being questionnaire, Lutanz’ s psychological capital questionnaire and Shahidi and Farajnia spiritual attitudes. Data were analyzed using correlation and multiple regression analysis method. Results showed that self-efficacy, optimism and spiritual ability, could predict psychological well-being but resilience, hope and spiritual attitude could not predict psychological well-being. So it can be with the right plans for strengthen self-efficacy, optimism and spirituality, upgraded the level of psychological well-being of people.
