Studying the Role of the Servant Leadership in Predicting Orgnizational Citizenship Behavior

Abstract:
This research investigated the relationship between servant leadership and orgnizational citizenship behavior in Iranshahr medical faculty. Research method in terms of purpose was developmental–applied and in terms of data collection methods was a descriptive–correlational research.The population including the personnel of Iranshahr medical faculty and its hospitals in 1392. The sample included 170 who were selected by ratio-stratified sampling. Datas were collected by two standard questionnaires. The results show sub-components of service, reliability and kindness have the significant positive relationship with civic virtue and courtesy; but kindness has the significant negative relationship with sportsmanship. Also, humility has the significant positive relationship with courtesy and the significant negative relationship with conscientiousness. servant leadership are able to predict and explain courtesy in appropriate and civic virtue relatively in acceptable level.
