A Re- research on Ritual Practices at Kufah and Sahlah Mosques

The present research is investigating the jurisprudence and hadith the ritual practices at Kufah and Sahlah Mosques from jurisprudence and hadith aspects and how to observe worship at those holy Mosques by means of involving special places in the Mosque for correctness or perfection of an act. By exploring the narrations concerning these two Mosques, we find indications that there are special places at Kufah Mosque wherein there are rites and supplications to be performed as reported in authentic and reliable sources that show giving especial importance to worshiping at those places by the infallible Imams and indicate that performing worshiping rites at those places plays a role in perfection of worship and benefiting from complete reward. As for other sections of Kufah Mosque and the entire Sahlah Mosque, no obvious proof was found for any especial place. Likewise, as for performing worship at places attributed to the Prophets and the infallible Imams at the two mosques, certainty of its attribution and establishing the repetition of worship by the infallible at those places are involved in the perfection of activity and are considered as following the practical way of life of the infallible. But if the repetition of worship by the infallible is not established at those places even though there is certainty in its attribution to them, worship at those places is justifiable just as a form of seeking blessing from those places.
