Measuring and comparing the index of social capital in different provinces of the country by factor analysis

Social capital is a good platform to increase productivity of other assets and as a way to achieve success. Along with the development of the this concept of capital, its measurement and assays were also wide attention. Given the lack of data on social capital, in this study, measurement of social capital in the provinces ranged between 1392-1385 have been considered. According to Putnam and Coleman's approach to measure this concept, three levels of partnership, trust and integrity have been considered. In order to combine the indicators used in this study, factor analysis was used. The results showed that Zanjan province has highest level of social capital and the Tehran and Ilam province have the lowest level of social capital in the period under study. In the nation scale, can be a fairly steady trend observed in the country's social capital. Given the role of this type of capital in the take and use advantage of other capital potential in the country is suggested by using the results of studies such recent study, planning and policy in order to increase the country's level of social capital as an excellent target consider.
