Comparative Study on the Cocept of Death in John Donne and Molana’s Works

The present paper intends to study, research and compare the concept of “Death” in John Donne’s works – the English metaphysical poet in Baroque era in seventeen’s century – and Molana’s – Iranian poet of seventh century. Since two poets are different in their view points but similar in concerning death in their works, this paper initially studies their life styles and then their mythical and religious themes in order to find out the why and how of the concept of death in both poets’ works. The present article aims to study the abovementioned concept as two lines – one as John Donne in Baroque era and the other as Molana and find out the similarities and differences which may make them parallel or crisscross.
