The effectiveness of social capital on knowledge sharing amongst the Agricultural Engineering students of Islamic Azad University, Science and Research Branch, Tehran

The aim of this study is the effectiveness of social capital on sharing knowledge amongst the Agricultural Engineering students of Islamic Azad University, Science and Research Branch, Tehran. The current study is applicable in the case of purpose and correlational descriptive survey in the case of the method of data collection. The statistical population was the aforementioned students from which 200 people were randomly chosen based on Cochran’s formula. The data collection tools included two questionnaires of social capital and knowledge sharing. Validity was confirmed through pilot implementation, and content through the judgement of experts and the comprehensive review of the literature. Reliability was calculated by Cronbach’s Alpha including 0.790 for the social capital questionnaire and 0.89 for the knowledge sharing questionnaire which indicate the high reliability. The data was analyzed by SPSS Software and also through Pearson’s Correlation Test and Regression Test.
