Abstract:
In this research copper oxide nanoparticles prepared by co-precipitation method and its ability to adsorb Aluminon been studied in laboratory scale. Samples were detected using the EDX, SEM, VSM, XRD and FT-IR methods. The results of infrared spectroscopy FT-IR confirm covalent bond for Cu-O. X-ray diffraction XRD indicates that the sample has single-phase with monoclinic crystal system. . The average size of the particles of sample was calculated to be 11/41 nm. UV-Vis spectra obtained from the survey indicate that the copper oxide nano-particles can be adsorb Aluminon from aqueous solution. The highest percentages of aluminum, take place in pH 2, t 40 minutes and 3× 10-4M. Experimental data in optimum conditions have been used to model the absorption behavior in five isotherm equations, which are Langmuer, Freundlich, Langmuer-Ferrandich, Tous and Khan, absorption data are in good agreement with Langmuir-Freundlich isotherm and kinetics Absorption interactions were investigated by four absorption mechanisms: pseudo-first kinetics, pseudo-second order, alleviation and intrinsic molecular penetration. The results of the data obtained with pseudo-second order kinetics are the most consistent.
