Role of personality dimension, religious orientation in predicting the mental health of female students

The present article has been study role of religious orientation & personality dimension in predicting the mental health of female students in Tehran. the descriptive correlation method was used. the sample included 300 married women in different grades of education who have passed a few years of married life. The sampling was simple and randomized. the measuring tools included:1 the five factor questionnaire of (NEO- FFI)1985 that includes 60 questions.2 the religious orientation (Bahrami Ehsan and colleagues)1384 including four sub scales.3 the general health questionnaire(GHO) with 28 questions. the used tests: descriptive statistics and inferential statistics, correlational and regression coefficient. the data showed a meaningful and positive relation between the personality dimension with the religious orientation except the nurvesenes the relation between the religious orientation and the mental health was positive in different dimensions. also there was a meaningful and positive relation between the personality dimension except nurvesenes and the mental health.
according to the data’s this is deduced that the personality dimension and the religious orientation have the power to predict the mental health in married women.
