Abstract:
The Anti-Hazard Wrist Strap is a Wrist strap that can measure the flux of the current in which cross through the hand of a victim, and it will trigger an EMR (Electromagnetic Relay) or SSR (Solid State Relay) to keep the victim safe from electrocution. The material which has been used in this project as a core is a ferromagnetic material and a Hall-Effect Sensor. These Parts will place in the gap of the core. For directing flux to cross the Hall-Effect sensor, a non-magnetic material has been used in magnetic parallel ways of the core. The Anti-Hazard Wrist Strap uses a novel way to protect the person who is in danger of electrocution and this protection is based on direct protection of a person and is not depend on electrical ground. Phase to phase electrocution is an incident that any of available protection equipment cannot be efficient to sense it. The time of operation and the required current for operation of this Wrist Strap is as low as milliseconds and mill amperes.
