Abstract:
The purpose of this study was to investigate the possibility of using a new questionnaire for the five-factor variable Zuckerman (Zuckerman-Kuhlmann-Aloe Personality Inventory) to examine the relationship between personality, depression and sense of coherence in a student sample of Shahid Beheshti University. All of the five personality factors identified are partly related to depression and sense of coherence. In particular, the feeling of tiredness and hostility, along with anxiety and excessive activity, are significantly associated with the sense of co-morality of individuals. On the other hand, the reduction of emotions, differentiation and excessive activity, and violence and psychosis, and excessive depression, directly or indirectly affects the sense of affection of individuals. The results of this study show the usefulness and validity of the Zuckerman questionnaire for assessing the correlation between sense of co-morbidity and depression.
