Analysis of the impact of urban development on micro and macro urban spatial structure (Case Study: Zanjan Zainabiyeh axis design)

More than half a century of comprehensive plans the physical urban of Iran. The plan is also based on the formation of the modern movement, organizing actions based on four housing, residence, travel and spending leisure time has been which is not expected to regain their goals and prospects. The result of these initiatives rely only on physical intervention, ignoring the spatial relationship between man and space that the nature of the social logic of space, something the opposition between tradition and modern heterogeneity was not.The street network as an important element of physical space is the key to building relationships. So this paper tries to examine the impact of development projects on spatial relationships governing the structure of the city to properly assess the issue.
A design based on the historic fabric of the city Zainabiyeh no exception of spatial heterogeneity been. This heterogeneity is rooted in lack of knowledge and the impact of the project on the city's structure and spatial relationships; Therefore, this study aimed to analyze the impact of of development oriented micro and macro Zainabiyeh in historical context on the spatial structure of the city was done by Space Syntax.
