Abstract:
Throughout the traditional Persian poem, the poets describe their beloved, as if they have transcribed each other, and "prototype" or "pre-expression” is a term used as the first pattern in which the samples or the subsequent patterns are constructed. The present study seeks to ascertain how close the image of Saadi from the beloved is to its "prototype" and what are the causes or the factors influence in the image of this beloved in Saadi's Gazelles? This research is qualitative and it is based on a descriptive-analytical library study; the theoretical basis of the research is the psychoanalytic Jung’s theory. The author has studied the first thousands Gazelles of Saadi, then he has categorized and analyzed the evidences. The properties of the beloved are exemplified in both the apparent and spiritual or internal dimensions, and the examples of each case are presented and analyzed. The findings show that the environmental factors, the personal experiences and the appearance of some mythological figures of Persian myths have influenced in the image of a beloved preacher in Saadi's Gazelles. Of course, the image of the beloved is also affective in Saadi. However, It is contradictory, as it sometimes has a positive feature, and sometimes the opposite is also considered positive by the poet. The prototype beloved of Saadi has the power and the strength, and the lover is not able to resist against her, and from this perspective, the result is that women and the beloved ones are epic. Another point is that it is clearly notified that a woman is beloved or a man and of course, his gender is not so clear (with the features like the pleasant sound or the power of cruelty or happiness), whatever It is, the presence of a soul and a beloved are visible, which is the principle itself and the expression of his attributes until his or her gender is important. Moreover, in the portrayal of the beloved in Saadi's Gazelles, in both dimensions, we witness the duality and the moral and paradox features that wearing is her necessity., sometimes he is zealous, and if the angel with the bitter and sweet language. These cases represent a contradiction between the image depicted in this mind and the language of the poets, and Saadi does not take any other way, except for the representation of this multifaceted beloved.
