Identifying the Cultural Components of Soft Threat with a Law enforcement Approach

By explicitly recognizing the cultural components of soft threats, police can take advantage of more effective means and means of preventing or coping with it, and thus reducing the impact of soft threats.

This research has two stages, the first stage is qualitative and it is a type of discourse analysis. The documentary method was used to study the discursive space on the cultural components of soft threats with a policymaking approach. Therefore, any papers on the subject of research, such as interviews on soft threats in domestic news agencies, were published in the cyberspace and official publications of the country as a source of data. In the second stage, a researcher-made questionnaire was used to determine the priority of soft-law components and indicators. The statistical population of this section included deputies, general directors and operational assistants, public security police and police officers, and sample size was determined using the Cochran formula. The validity of the questionnaire was 0.831 by Cronbach's alpha.

Among the findings of the research, the identification and prioritization of the cultural components of soft threats with the law enforcement perspective include legitimacy, national participation, identity, fundamental values, general norms, reference patterns, social justice, demand patterns, information production, and so on.

Reducing people's presence in decision-making areas, decreasing public confidence, the emergence of a political crisis, the gap and disruption of the factors of social integration and its relations with it, norms and disregard for public norms are among the most important soft threats of cultural dimension that from the viewpoint of law enforcement, Their expansion will reduce order and security.
