The curriculum features sustainable development education from the perspective of compatible systems

The field of Sustainability seeks to understand the complex and dynamic interactions between natural systems. This field is looking for the transition and development of systems in a sustainable manner. One of the essential functions of the university is to interaction and adaption with these systems. As universities are not able to deal with these external systems, they are doomed to death. The university needs to adapt to the evolving system conditions, and in this regard, it is necessary to change the structure, processes, etc., one of the components of which is the change in the curriculum. A curriculum in such a university, although based on the system theory of its local-native context, has its own specific characteristics. Therefore, the present article is based on the fact that, given the measures taken at the global level in this field, The curriculum of sustainable development education from the perspective of the adaptive system.
The study suggests that a curriculum that responds to such a system should be based on an interdisciplinary approach and responds to such a system should address the transitions in higher education systems around the world, such as: learning transformation and learner's role; the evolution of the type of education and the emphasis on professional and theoretical education in a coherent way; Universities and their roles, transformation in the role of knowledge, and transformation in curriculum.
