Economic Growth Under Entrepreneurship and Competitiveness

Abstract:
In this paper, economic growth is under consideration in terms of entrepreneurship and competitiveness. The analysis showed that economic growth, measured by GDP at each rate of per capita growth, and the global competitiveness of countries measured by the growth rate of the World Economic Forum's World Economic Forum (WEF) index are positively correlated. The comparative analysis also showed that some of the specific and efficient transfers of countries have the highest levels of progress in the various competitiveness pillars reflected in the country's economic growth. During the testing of hypotheses about the relationship between the average growth of the quality of entrepreneurial indices in the early stages and the average GDP growth per capita, no significant relationship was found. These findings are consistent with the general view that entrepreneurial activity supports only as part of a wider and more favorable business environment of economic growth. The results of the research include an initial analytical framework for policy makers and managers of countries.
