The Effectiveness of Teaching Jigsaw in the Geography and History Classroom on Social Skills Development

Abstract:
The aim of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the effectiveness of teaching Jake-Sao in the geography and history classroom on social skills development. The statistical population consisted of all boys in the second felly of high school in Sarpol Zahab city. In a multi-stage cluster sampling, 120 individuals were selected and randomly replaced in two groups (30 people) and 30 subjects (in each class). The data gathering tool was Matson's social skills questionnaire. Data were analyzed using variance analysis. The results showed a significant difference between the experimental and control groups in the post-test. Also, there was a significant difference between the groups in terms of social skills in the components of non-social behaviors, avoidance of aggression, avoidance of superiority, and proper relationship with peers (P <0.05). However, these differences did were not significant in the tendency components toward appropriate behaviors. (05/0 <p).
