Investigating the Status of Police Interaction with Lorestan Province Road Department and Road Transportation Organization

One of the main causes of road accidents is inappropriate interaction among the caretaker organizations. In this regard, the interaction between the traffic police and the road and rail organization is of great importance. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to investigate the status of police traffic interactions with the road and rail organization of the province Lorestan is in reduction of accidents. This research is applied in terms of purpose and in terms of descriptive-analytical nature. Data were collected using a researcher-made questionnaire. Using a Morgan table, 118 individuals were selected randomly from the statistical community. The results show that the traffic police interactions with the road and transportation organization in Lorestan province in three dimensions (1- defect and geometric correction, 2 - the implementation of laws and regulations and - the exchange of information and equipment) are not appropriate and have a significant difference with the desired situation.
