Relationship between Organizational Participation and Organizational Adaptability with Organizational Effectiveness; Mediator Role of Organizational Ethics
Today, by complexity in organizations and new attitudes towards the empowerment of staffs, the role of organizational adaptability and participation in increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of the organization has been revealed. With regard to the importance of positive feelings in improvement of organizations, managers have to pay attention on creating an ethical work climate and staffs’ participation. This survey examines the relationship between organizational participation and organizational adaptability with organizational effectiveness and mediating role of organizational ethics
This research is descriptive-correlation study. The population in this research includes all employees and faculty members of Vali-E-Asr University of Rafsanjan (N= 270). The sample consists of 159 subjects, which were selected by random sampling. Data were collected by four questionnaires: participation‚ organizational adaptability‚ organizational effectiveness and organizational ethic. Data were analyzed by SPSS software to determine the spearman correlation coefficients and the moderate role of variable.
Results show that there is a positive relationship between organizational participation and organizational adaptability with organizational effectiveness and organizational ethics. In addition, the mediating role of organizational ethics in relationship between organizational participation and organizational adaptability is significant.
The results of this study suggest that organizational participation and organizational adaptability and organizational ethics are good predictors for organizational effectiveness and have to provide the necessary backgrounds to strengthen them.
