The relationship between architecture and cinema in the era of virtualization

Contemporary man is involved with the challenge of moving from the information age to the virtual world. Like other life-affairs, it has brought about changes in the field of architecture, such as the emergence of lexical similarities; virtual architecture and digital architecture. In the meantime, virtual reality and cyber space are components that have come into the architecture with the advent of digital technologies and have been architecturally engineered technologies. Virtual architecture provides architects with the ability to use modern technology to represent imagery as visual reality for space experiments, the space created in this way is a cinematic phenomenon, and reproduces the quality of real spaces in which Dream, fear, value and meaning are interwoven with real perception. In this paper, we will be able to evaluate the relationship between architecture and cinema as two complementary elements by introducing virtual reality as a tool for entering human beings into a designed environment before construction. What follows is the result of library studies on virtual reality as a medium and interactions between cinema and architecture in the design process of human environments based on the Fourth Wave or Virtual Age theory.
