Study of the Effects of Social Networks on Interpersonal Relationships of Students; Comparative Study of "Universities of Isfahan and Ardestan"

Today in Iran, the use of social networks among young people, especially students, is very common. This research studies the impact of virtual social networks on the nature of interpersonal communication between students in two social settings, (1) "immortal" (Ardestan), and 2) "exasperated" (Isfahan), as well as an analytical cognition of their communication model. . The sample consists of 500 university students from both cities. Virtual social networks in the world today have two ports: 1) personal computers (PCs), 2) mobile phones (phablets), analyzed and interpreted. With careful consideration in the results of the research, it became clear that the overall and long-term use of these networks is effective on interpersonal relationships among students, especially among family members and peer groups. Due to the ease of use of web-based social networks, communication between students and their family members has grown dramatically. This research provides an insightful perspective on the consequences of the virtual social networking on the components of the Gemma Shaft and Gesellschaft in the field of sociology, psychology, and digital communication among target groups.
