Impact of Various Types of Fondness on Security Feeling

Many people are of the opinion that the share of emotional fondness which is chief among the numerous factors that prominently contribute to citizens’ security feeling, is formed during the first years of anyone’s life. Fondness functions like a shield to protect individuals against threats, and leads to formation of some sort of deep” public trust”. This trust brings about social security for the person. In order to test this claim, the relationship between the level of group fondness and the security feeling of 630 university students-boys and girls- who study at Azad University of Tehran South and Shahid Beheshti University was surveyed. To that effect, firstly the type of fondness of every student was determined. The results indicate that the students can be divided into two groups: safe fondness and unsafe fondness. Then the level of security feeling of each group was measured. Afterward, the two groups’ security feeling was compared through using T-test .The results indicated that there is significant relationship between levels of security feeling of the two groups. Based on the findings of the research, it can be concluded that fondness is among the factors anticipating security feeling on the part of members of the society. Hence, it is essential to stress importance their efforts to form safe fondness.
