The Legal Status of the Property of the Iranian Armed Forces

The armed forces as one of the most important institution of the governance have a special place in the legal system of the Islamic Republic of Iran so that several principles of constitution is dedicated to this momentous institution. But what is commonly overlooked, the assets and property held by the forces. Whereas, the armed forces are considered part of the state in general, it seems that occupied property by these forces has same rights and similar mechanism like other property belonging to the government. But a review of existing related regulations and acts illustrates the difference. In fact, the legal nature of the armed forces that is the implementing rule, given the sensitivity and complexity has caused much of the property under the authority of these institutions have their own legal system.
