Relationship of family cohesion and life skills in students of Farhangian University of Fars province

Abstract:
This research was done by descriptive-correlational method. For sampling, 282 people were selected by computing the sample size using the Cochran formula and the samples were selected by stratified random sampling from the campuses of Farhangian University in Fars province. Data were collected using two questionnaires of family cohesion and life skills. The reliability of the two questionnaires was calculated to be 0.89 and 0.83 using Cronbach's alpha method, respectively. The results of this study showed that there is a significant difference between male and female students regarding family cohesion and life skills; there is no significant difference between family members and living skills between single and married students; between family solidarity and life skills There is a meaningful relationship with the average of the students studied; family cohesion can predict students' life skills. Based on the findings, students with more family social cohesion had higher life skills; female students had higher life skills than male students, and finally, students with higher life skills and their families with coherence More socially, were more successful in studying.
