Commercialization capacity for small mobile application developer firms

Commercialization requires capabilities such as production and marketing; capabilities that vary depending on market conditions and environmental changes and should be improved by the innovator. Small app developer firms have difficulty to create, exploit and improve these capabilities. Therefore, the question of this research is what capacity should be available inside and outside of the organization of an innovator that the innovator can create, improve, and exploit these capabilities.To find the answer, this question is being explored in the study of twelve small firms in the field of mobile application development, all of which have a history of more than three years of industrial activity. In this study, a multiple case study using the open coding approach is used to analyze the data obtained from the interviews with the innovators. The results of the research show that commercialization capacity in two internal and external dimensions of the organization has various components; which identified and classified in this paper.The internal commercialization capacity refers to the potential that the innovator can create, itself. The external commercialization capacity refers to the potential of the national and industrial levels that should be addressed by the government, society and industry activists.
