Regeneration of slums on the city border with emphasis on Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix: Hadiabad neighborhood of Qazvin city

Slums are considered as one of the problems of "developing countries", which have numerous problems in urban planning. These urban areas exist in different societies in different forms, such as marginalization, ghettos, debris, and so on. In Iran, informal settlements are one of the main problems and challenges of the urban community, which has created adverse effects such as uncultivated constructions, high density, undesirable urban environments, lack of urban services and so etc. for cities especially metropolitan areas .slums in Qazvin has also caused many problems that require scientific research and delivery of executive solutions. Accordingly, the aim of this study is to regenerate Hadiabad neighborhood of Qazvin in order to introduce strategies for improving the quality of life in it. The research method is descriptive-analytical and based on library resources, documents, field studies and questionnaires. The statistical population is all residents of Hadiabad neighborhood and the sample size includes 40 residents of the neighborhood, which is calculated using the Cochran formula. Also, quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix (QSPM) has been used for analysis. The research results show that Economic, social, environmental and physical regeneration strategies can be effective in improving the quality of life in this neighborhood so that by providing facilities such as lending to residents to renovate parts and aggregating them and creating a business environment, it is possible to prevent the outflow of youth from the neighborhood and Preserves the demographic pattern In addition, with the extension of the road as an appropriate action, it provided ease of commuting.
