Importance of Health in the Militaries: A review study

Health is one of the key indicators of progress for each country. The peace and comfort of society depends on the state’s attention to the health sector. The armed forces are the main pillar of the protection of the borders and the security of the country; the aim of this study was to determine the importance of military health and its effective factors.

This article is a review article that was developed in 2018 using validated search engines SID, Magiran and Google Scholar, Science Direct from authoritative bibliographic and database sources and using health, military, and military health-related keywords. Persian articles from 1392 to 1397 and Latin articles from 2014 to 2018 were selected.

Armed Forces and their families, are the vast mission areas in comparison with other areas of the country’s health and as a result of the need to develop equipment infrastructure and manpower for crisis management and military medicine, The lack of financial resources and military funded as a result of the economic downturn and the decline in government revenues in this area have been hampered by financial constraints to carry out optimal missions. Therefore, it is essential that health policy makers make big decisions in the effective and undeniable role of military health as one of the key actors in the field of health and the analysis of the effects and consequences of political and economic shocks on the optimal performance of this section.
