Abstract:

A step-by-step approach to urban planning and planning is to examine and simulate the physical development of the city. In today's world, remote sensing technology (RS) and geographic information system (GIS) are widely used for urban management. The two technicians provide an effective tool for collecting and analyzing time-space information. In this regard, the present study uses landslide multi-temporal satellite imagery and evaluates the trend of the development of the city's 15th district in Tehran from 1985 to 2015. The images used in this study are TM 1985, ETM + 2002 and OLI 2015 from Landsat. In the present study, urban development and land use changes in the 15th district of Tehran were studied. The results indicated that the study area had a growth rate of about 10.75% in the period from 1985 to 2015, and the change in the use of this time period in increasing the two classes of residential land and commercial use and reducing the use of industrial areas and Land was a land. Regarding the results of satellite images processing, area 15 has had a significant spatial-physical expansion.
